Get Out the Vote 2011
To all voters in Ulster County:
Headlining the Republican ticket this year is District Attorney Holley Carnright. Holley faces a challenge from an inexperienced local attorney and I am confident that Ulster County voters will re-elect our outstanding District Attorney who has a conviction rate among the tops in the State. The most important factor in all of our lives is our personal safety and with Holley Carnright at the helm, we can all sleep better knowing he has dedicated his life in prosecuting violent gangsters and criminals. To see more about Holley Carnright, please visit his website at www.carnrightforda.com/
Getting out the vote in 2011 in a few areas of the County will be an interesting challenge and I believe our candidates are up to it! Our County legislative districts have been re-drawn, some local election districts have been changed, in some cases, voters will have to travel to a different polling place and voting will be for an individual County Legislative candidate instead of an election at large for multiple candidates.
We have all lived under our bloated government demands and the best way to take control back is to elect our Republican slate of candidates and maintain the majority in the legislature. Given the state of our economy throughout America, Republican philosophy and principals will guide our voters.
I urge you all to become involved in helping our County Legislative candidates in their individual races. We will have signs to put up, literature to hand out and phone calls to make to remind people to get out and vote. We will also need volunteers to drive our seniors and those without cars to the polls. If you can help, please get in touch with me at chairman@ulstergop.org or at 845-338-6245.
Thank you for visiting our website and thank you for your participation in our political process.
Roger Rascoe
Chairman, Ulster County Republican Committee
Congratulations & Happy Holidays
Congratulations to Holley Carnright for his 2-1 victory and to the 12 successful GOP candidates that kept the Republican party in the majority of the Ulster County legislature. A happy and safe holiday season from the Ulster County Republican Committee.
