Town of Marbletown Republican Committee Reorganizes Under Chairman Bruce Fallon Sr.

On August 8th, the Town of Marbletown Republican Committee re-organized under the leadership of newly appointed Chairman Bruce Fallon Sr. who had been appointed to the position by County Republican Chairman Roger Rascoe. In introducing Fallon, Rascoe told the crowd of over 50 that it was an easy choice to select Fallon, as he was active in the community serving as Commander of the American Legion and involved in several other youth programs in the Town. During the organizational meeting, nine Republicans stepped forward and volunteered to service as Republican Committeemen with Cassandra Thaule serving as Secretary and Dennis VanWagenen as Treasurer. Other Committeemen and Committeewomen include Joan Dalton, Anne Gerdes, Jason Carlucci, Lisa Fraser, Albert Davis, John Cirone and Dean Palen. Fallon suggested that given the excellent turnout on the 1st Thursday of the month for that meeting, the Committee should consider it for future meetings. Accordingly, the next meeting of the Marbletown Republican Committee will be on Thursday, September 1st at 7:00 p.m.
Immediately following the organizational meeting, a Town Republican Caucus was held. The caucus selected County Chairman Rascoe as the Temporary Chairman of the Caucus and the following candidates were selected for office: Doug Stevens, the incumbent Highway Superintendent seeking re-election, Mike Warren, an incumbent Town Councilman as a candidate for Town Supervisor, Kathy Cairo-Davis, the incumbent Town Clerk seeking re-election, Dennis VanWagenen as a candidate for Town Councilman, Claudia Davenport and Mark Glick, incumbent Town Justices seeking re-election.
